Friend to all
Takoda is the career pathways division of American Indian OIC and works to help community members enter, reenter, and advance in the workforce. The goal of our programming is to provide the personalized support and educational foundation needed to achieve lifelong career growth. Takoda is a Dakota word meaning 'friend to all.' Our name reflects our roots in Minneapolis’s vibrant Native American community, and our welcoming and inclusive approach to serving everyone who needs our help. Through four distinct programs, Takoda offers personalized support and trusted education to ensure that your needs are met and career goals are achieved.
