Construction & Logistics Training Programs

Takoda’s short-term training programs are designed to help you get the skills and credentials needed to quickly enter in-demand jobs in construction, transportation, warehousing, and logistics. Our intimate class sizes and caring instructors ensure that you are learning in a supportive and career-focused environment. 1 week, Monday-Friday
8:30am-3:30pm, In-person


This one-week program teaches students the skills and knowledge needed to gain their OSHA-30 safety credential. The course will train students on safety responsibility, with emphasis on hazard identification, control, prevention, and avoidance, in addition to OSHA standards.

Class B Commercial Drivers’ Permit

6 weeks, Tuesday & Thursday Evenings, Occasional Saturdays
5:30pm-8pm, Hybrid- in-person and distance learning


This six-week program prepares students for testing for their Class B Commercial Drivers’ Permit. Once the permit is attained, Takoda staff will help you find a job in the field or complete Class B behind the wheel training.

3 weeks, Monday-Friday
8:30am-3:30pm, In-person


Become certified to operate the small equipment found on construction sites and in warehouses. In just three weeks, you will learn how to operate skid steer loaders, compact excavators, forklifts, utility vehicles, and boom lifts. Students will also be able to attain their OSHA-10 hour certification.
