Health & Human Services Training Programs

Takoda’s health and human services training programs are designed to help you get the skills needed to quickly enter in-demand jobs in healthcare and social services. Our intimate class sizes and caring instructors ensure that you are learning in a supportive and career-focused environment.

Programs

Medical Office Administration

 

12 weeks, Monday-Thursday
8:30am-4:30pm, In-person

This three-month program trains students for a range of entry-level positions in healthcare administration. You will be prepared for jobs working in patient registration, insurance verification, electronic health records, and HIPAA certification.

Phlebotomy

12 weeks, Monday-Thursday
8:30am-4:30pm, In-person

 

This three-month program will train students to draw blood in clinical and lab settings. Students will learn the basics of blood draws, biological waste management, and medical terminology.

Case Management

3 weeks, Mondays and Tuesdays
6:30pm-8:30pm, online via Teams

 

Learn how to provide comprehensive case management services to individuals who need support to move ahead. You will learn best practices for serving people with barriers and be introduced to the tools and knowledge needed to help advance your clients’ goals.
