CA 29 Introduction to Microsoft Office
3 credits 75 hours: 14 hours lecture, 46 hours lab and 15 hours out-of-class assignments
This course prepares the student to use computers and peripheral equipment and to conduct fundamental operations such as opening of files, saving of changes, copying of files, and other utilities.
The student uses a selection of common software applications to practice these skills, including presentation programs, word processing, Internet browsers, database and spreadsheet. It requires the student to demonstrate these skills individually and in a group, and to discuss the topics.
