Access Food Support Through SNAP
At Takoda, we understand that accessing healthy food is essential. That’s why we provide personal assistance to help you apply for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits quickly, respectfully, and confidentially.
What is SNAP?
SNAP (formerly food stamps) is a federal program that offers monthly financial support to help individuals and families afford groceries. Funds are loaded onto an EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) card, which you can use just like a debit card at grocery stores and some farmers markets.
Who Can Qualify?
Eligibility is based on:
-
Household size and monthly income
-
Citizenship or eligible immigration status
-
Additional factors such as age, disability, or employment status
You may qualify for up to $194/month, with benefits lasting for 3 months every 3 years, depending on your circumstances.
